FL.02 is a modular floor lamp that explores the interplay between material contrasts and lighting atmospheres. Combining stainless steel, aluminum, and washi paper, the lamp balances a monolithic appearance with functional design. Its segmented structure and interchangeable front panels allow users to customize light diffusion and form, offering both sculptural presence and functional adaptability.

01 Properties

The lamp consists of three vertically stacked segments. Each segment features a lightweight stainless steel frame that holds the internal lighting and exterior cladding. The outer layer includes a washi paper diffuser and front panels made of aluminum. The curved aluminum elements are designed to create a visual contrast within the otherwise monolithic body of the lamp, adding subtle variation and depth to its appearance.

02 Structure

The front panels of FL.02 are designed for flexible configuration. They attach magnetically to the frame and can be easily replaced or repositioned without tools. Users can alternate between flat, opaque panels that block light and curved, semi-open variants that direct light downward. This system allows for individual adjustments in both lighting atmosphere and visual appearance.
