01 Properties

S.01 is a lightweight stool combining natural and industrial materials. The seat is made of two solid cork blocks, offering a soft and tactile surface. Its base structure uses standardized aluminum profiles and connectors, ensuring precision and repeatability in assembly. Despite its minimal appearance, the stool is highly stable and easy to transport. The combination of cork and aluminum creates a contrast between warmth and rigidity, while the modular construction allows for easy maintenance and part replacement.

02 Strcuture

Four aluminum profiles rise from the base plate to support the seat: each profile houses a screw anchoring it directly into the cork blocks. This screw-based connection secures the seat while keeping the construction minimal. Two profile connectors per leg affix each profile to the base plate, preventing unwanted twisting and ensuring overall rigidity. This assembly method results in a clean, tool-free modular structure that balances structural integrity with lightweight usability.
