WR.01 is an expandable wine rack system that explores adaptability and variability in the storage and presentation of wines and spirits. Combining aluminum and cork, the design emphasizes material contrast, modularity, and functional elegance. Its expandable structure allows for flexible arrangements and different display orientations, catering to both domestic and professional environments.

01 Properties
The wine rack is composed of modular units made from aluminum support plates and curved cork inserts. Each module accommodates a single bottle and can be configured in horizontal or vertical alignment. The aluminum provides structural stability and a refined, industrial aesthetic, while the cork insert ensures gentle and secure bottle storage.
02 Structure
Each module consists of two parallel aluminum plates that hold a semi-cylindrical cork insert. The insert cradles the bottle and prevents slipping, ensuring secure placement even at an inclined angle. This modular structure enables both compact storage solutions and sculptural, wall-like wine displays adaptable to various spatial contexts.

The structure of this module ensures the proper storage of wines, while the shape of the cork insert prevents the bottles from slipping and guarantees secure placement.

Wine presentation module
An additional hole in the support plates allows the bottle holder to be positioned at a slight forward angle, enabling the presentation of both the bottle and its label.

Module set
The combination of all four rack modules forms the modular set. The sequence of assembly can be freely chosen. The stacked modules are connected by a chrome connector allowing the system to expand or contract according to the desired capacity.

Spirits module
By positioning the bottle holder vertically within the support plates, bottles can be stored and displayed in an upright position. This type of storage is particularly suitable for spirits.

Wine storage module - stacked
This module doubles the number of bottles stored by having a second bottle holder installed. Wines are still stored horizontally.
